Covers
In mathematics, a "cover" refers to a collection of sets that together include every element of a larger set or space. Imagine covering a table with different cloths so that no part of the table is uncovered. For example, if you have a set of numbers, a cover might be a few intervals on the number line that collectively contain all those numbers. Covers are useful in analysis and topology to study properties like size, structure, and continuity, by examining how smaller parts fit together to encompass an entire set.
