Cover test

A cover test is a simple eye exam used to check if your eyes are working well together and focusing properly. During the test, a doctor covers one eye and then uncovers it while watching how the eye moves. If your eye moves to fixate on an object when uncovered, it indicates a misalignment or lazy eye. This test helps identify issues like strabismus (eye turn) or gaze problems, allowing for appropriate treatment or glasses to improve sight and eye coordination.
