Cover and concealment
Cover and concealment are strategic terms used in combat and tactical situations. Cover is any physical object, like a wall or vehicle, that provides protection from bullets or shrapnel, helping to physically block attacks. Concealment, on the other hand, is simply hiding or staying out of sight, such as behind bushes or in shadows, which prevents others from seeing you but doesn’t necessarily stop projectiles from reaching you. Essentially, cover offers safety from attack, while concealment hides your presence. Effective use of both can improve survival and situational awareness.
