Courtroom trials

A courtroom trial is a formal process where a person accused of a crime (the defendant) is judged by a judge or jury. Both sides present evidence and arguments—prosecution presents proof of guilt, and defense offers reasons for innocence. Witnesses may testify, and experts provide explanations. The judge or jury then carefully review everything to determine if the defendant committed the crime beyond a reasonable doubt. If guilty, they decide the punishment; if not, the defendant is acquitted. Trials ensure a fair hearing, uphold legal rights, and aim for just resolution based on the evidence.
