Count Regression Models
Count regression models are statistical tools used to analyze and predict outcomes that can be counted, like the number of events or occurrences, such as the number of visits to a website or the number of goals scored in a game. Unlike regular regression models, which assume continuous outcomes, count regression specifically handles data where values are non-negative integers (0, 1, 2, etc.). These models, such as Poisson or Negative Binomial regression, help researchers understand relationships between variables and make forecasts based on the count data's specific nature.
