
Council of Yukon First Nations
The Council of Yukon First Nations (CYFN) is an organization representing 14 Yukon First Nations, acting as a collective voice in negotiations, policy development, and advocacy. It works to promote Indigenous rights, preserve cultural heritage, and improve social and economic conditions for its member Nations. The CYFN also fosters collaboration among First Nations and with government bodies to address issues facing Yukon Indigenous communities, supporting self-governance and the implementation of treaties and agreements. It functions as a unifying body to advance the interests and well-being of Yukon First Nations people.
