Cougars

Cougars, also known as mountain lions or pumas, are large wild cats native to the Americas. They are solitary, stealthy predators that primarily hunt deer, elk, and smaller animals. Recognizable by their muscular build, tawny-colored fur, and long tail, they typically inhabit forests, mountains, and deserts. Cougars play a vital role in maintaining healthy ecosystems by controlling prey populations. They are generally shy around humans but can be dangerous if threatened or surprised.
