Cougar

A cougar, also known as a mountain lion or puma, is a large wild feline native to North and South America. They are solitary predators with powerful builds, capable of hunting large prey like deer. Cougars prefer remote, forested areas but can adapt to various habitats. They are skilled ambush hunters, relying on stealth and strength to catch their food. Though generally shy, they can be dangerous if approached or cornered. Cougars play an important role in maintaining healthy ecosystems by controlling prey populations. They are protected in many regions due to their elusive nature and declining numbers.
