Cosmos and Psyche

Cosmos generally refers to the universe as a whole—the vast, orderly system containing all matter, energy, planets, stars, and galaxies. Psyche is an asteroid located in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter, unique because it is thought to be composed mostly of metallic metal, possibly the exposed core of a protoplanet. The NASA spacecraft mission called Psyche aims to explore this intriguing object to better understand planetary formation and the building blocks of planets in our solar system.
