Cosmic Web
The Cosmic Web is the large-scale structure of the universe, made up of vast networks of interconnected matter. It consists of galaxy clusters linked by enormous filaments of dark matter and gas, forming a web-like pattern across space. These structures contain billions of galaxies and are separated by vast empty regions called voids. The Cosmic Web results from gravity pulling matter together over billions of years, shaping the universe into this intricate, interconnected framework that reveals how matter is distributed on the grandest scales.
