Corporate Raiding
Corporate raiding involves acquiring a large stake in a company to influence or gain control, often with the goal of restructuring or profiting. Raiders typically target established firms they believe are undervalued or underperforming, and they may push for changes to increase the company's value, such as replacing management or selling assets. While sometimes seen as a way to improve company performance, it can also be viewed negatively if it leads to disruption, layoffs, or short-term profit pursuits at the expense of long-term stability.
