Core making

Core making is the process of creating a specially shaped internal cavity, called a core, inside a mold used for metal casting or similar manufacturing. The core determines the internal features and dimensions of the final product. Typically made from sand, ceramic, or other materials, the core is formed to exact specifications and then placed into the mold before pouring molten metal. Once the metal cools and solidifies, the core is removed, leaving a precise void that shapes the internal geometry of the cast part. This process ensures complex internal features can be produced efficiently and accurately.
