Coptology is the scholarly study of Coptic language, culture, history, and artifacts related to Egypt's Christian community from late antiquity to the present. It involves analyzing ancient texts, religious writings, and archaeological findings to understand Coptic civilization and its influence. Coptologists examine language development, church history, and cultural practices, providing insights into the spiritual and social life of Egyptian Copts.
