Coptic theology

Coptic theology is the Christian faith as practiced by the Coptic Orthodox Church of Egypt. It emphasizes the coexistence of Jesus Christ’s divine and human nature, the importance of the sacraments and liturgical worship, and the authority of the church’s teachings. It shares core beliefs with other mainstream Christianity, such as the Trinity and salvation through Christ, but also maintains unique traditions rooted in early Egyptian Christianity. Coptics deeply value community, liturgical prayer, and monastic life, emphasizing spiritual discipline and the ongoing experience of God's presence through worship and rituals.
