Conversion Rate (CR) is a metric that measures the percentage of visitors to a website or online platform who complete a desired action, such as making a purchase, signing up for a newsletter, or filling out a form. It helps businesses understand how effectively their site or campaign encourages visitors to become customers or leads. For example, if 1,000 people visit a store’s webpage and 50 buy something, the CR is 5%. A higher CR indicates a more successful effort in persuading visitors to take the intended action.
