Controlled Study

A controlled study is a scientific experiment designed to test the effect of a specific variable, such as a new medication or treatment. It involves two groups: one that receives the treatment (the experimental group) and another that does not (the control group). The control group allows researchers to compare outcomes and determine whether changes are due to the treatment or other factors. By keeping all other conditions the same for both groups, the study aims to provide reliable evidence about the treatment’s effectiveness or safety.
