Control Plane

The control plane is a part of a network system responsible for managing and directing how data moves through the network. It makes decisions about where data should go and sets up the necessary pathways for communication. Imagine it like a traffic controller, coordinating and guiding data traffic to ensure information reaches the right destination efficiently. The control plane operates separately from the actual data transfer (called the data plane), which handles the movement of data packets based on the control plane's instructions. This separation helps networks be more flexible, secure, and easier to manage.
