A Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) is a designated individual who manages and oversees the day-to-day performance of a government contract. They ensure that the contractor delivers services or products according to the agreement, monitors progress, and communicates any issues to the Contracting Officer. The COR acts as the government’s eyes and ears on the project, verifying that work meets quality standards and contract requirements, while not making contractual or financial decisions themselves.
