Continuum model

The Continuum Model is a way to understand how people or groups change attitudes, behaviors, or beliefs over time. Instead of thinking of change as an either/or switch, it views it along a gradual spectrum—from one state to another. For example, someone might move from being unsure about a new idea to fully accepting it, gradually shifting along the continuum. This model helps to see that change is often a process, with people progressing through various stages, rather than suddenly transforming. It’s useful in fields like education, therapy, and social change to plan effective interventions.
