Continuous Casting Technology

Continuous casting is a manufacturing process used to produce metal shapes, like slabs or beams, directly from molten metal. Instead of pouring metal into molds, the molten metal is poured into a water-cooled mold where it begins to solidify. As it hardens, the solidified metal is continuously pulled out of the mold at a controlled rate, allowing for a consistent and uniform shape. This method improves efficiency, reduces waste, and results in high-quality, uniform products suitable for further processing like rolling or shaping. Continuous casting is widely used in steel and other metal industries for its precision and cost-effectiveness.
