Continuity of operations

Continuity of operations (COOP) refers to an organization's plan to ensure essential functions can continue during and after a disruption, such as a natural disaster, cyberattack, or other emergencies. It involves preparing processes, resources, and personnel so that important activities can be maintained or quickly restored. The goal is to minimize downtime, protect assets, and ensure that critical services remain available to the public or stakeholders, maintaining stability and resilience regardless of unexpected events.
