Continuity Error
A continuity error occurs in film or television when there’s an inconsistency in details like props, costumes, or positioning between shots in the same scene or sequence. This inconsistency can disrupt the viewer’s sense of realism or flow, often unintentionally. For example, a character might have a different shirt in consecutive shots, or a bag might appear to move location. These errors typically happen during editing or filming and can be unintentional. While sometimes noticeable, they usually don't affect the story but can momentarily distract attentive viewers.
