Continental Celts
The Continental Celts were a group of Iron Age tribes that lived in various parts of Europe, primarily outside of present-day Britain, from around 500 BC to the Roman conquest. They were known for their distinctive art, languages, and warrior culture. The Celts inhabited regions that include modern-day France, Germany, Switzerland, and parts of Central and Eastern Europe. They had a complex social structure, practiced polytheism, and engaged in trade with neighboring cultures. Their influence can be seen in archaeological artifacts and the spread of Celtic languages, which are still present in some regions today.
