Consumer Futures
Consumer Futures was an organization in the UK that represented the interests of consumers, especially in sectors like utilities, finance, and telecommunications. Its role was to ensure that companies treated customers fairly, received good service, and paid reasonable prices. It provided advice, advocated for consumer rights, and worked to improve market conditions. Though it was restructured and absorbed into Ofgem in 2014, its focus was to make markets more transparent and foster better outcomes for consumers through regulation and advocacy.
