constructive realism
Constructive realism is a philosophy of science suggesting that scientific theories and concepts are human-made tools constructed to understand and predict the world, rather than literal descriptions of an ultimate reality. It posits that scientific models are useful approximations that help us navigate experiences, but they don't claim to reveal the exact, underlying nature of reality. Instead, these constructs are valuable for explaining phenomena and making sense of observations, while acknowledging that our scientific concepts are constructed and ever-improving representations, not absolute truths.
