Constructionist Learning Theory
Constructionist Learning Theory posits that learners actively build their understanding and knowledge through experiences and reflecting on those experiences. Instead of passively receiving information, learners engage in hands-on activities, problem-solving, and exploration, which helps them make meaningful connections. This approach emphasizes that learning is most effective when individuals are involved in creating or doing something relevant to their interests, allowing them to construct personal understanding based on their prior knowledge and interactions with the environment. Essentially, knowledge is built by the learner themselves, fostering deeper comprehension and retention.
