Conrad I (of Franconia)
Conrad I of Franconia was a powerful medieval king who ruled parts of Central Europe from 911 to 918. He was elected king after the death of the earlier King Louis the Child, and his reign marked the beginning of the East Frankish Kingdom, which later became Germany. Conrad was known for strengthening royal control, defending his territory against external threats, and working to restore stability after years of turmoil. Although his reign was relatively short, he set the stage for future rulers and contributed to the development of the Holy Roman Empire.
