Connecticut State Government
Connecticut's state government is a structured system that creates and enforces laws, manages public services, and oversees the state's functions. It has three branches: the Executive, led by the Governor who implements laws; the Legislative, composed of the Senate and House of Representatives, which makes laws; and the Judicial, including courts that interpret laws. The government is responsible for areas like education, health, transportation, and public safety. It operates with checks and balances to ensure power is shared fairly, aiming to serve residents efficiently, transparently, and in accordance with the state Constitution.
