Conjunctival Lymphoma

Conjunctival lymphoma is a type of cancer that affects the conjunctiva, the thin membrane lining the inside of the eyelids and covering the white part of the eye. It arises from lymphocytes, a type of white blood cell involved in the immune system. Symptoms may include a noticeable growth on the eye, redness, swelling, or irritation. This condition is relatively rare and is often diagnosed through examination and biopsy. Treatment typically involves radiation therapy or chemotherapy, depending on the type and stage of the lymphoma. Early detection is important for effective management.
