Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange Program

The Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange Program (CBYX) is a cultural exchange initiative between the United States and Germany, offering young Americans and Germans the opportunity to live with host families, attend school, and immerse themselves in each other’s cultures for about a year. Managed jointly by U.S. and German governments, it aims to promote mutual understanding, leadership, and educational growth through firsthand international experience. Participants gain language skills, develop global perspectives, and build lasting cross-cultural relationships, enhancing their personal and professional development while fostering international goodwill.
