congenital deformity

A congenital deformity is a structural abnormality or physical difference present at birth that affects the shape, size, or function of a body part. These conditions can result from genetic factors, problems during fetal development, or environmental influences. Congenital deformities can vary widely in severity and may involve the bones, muscles, or organs. Examples include cleft lip, clubfoot, or congenital heart defects.
