Confederate Wars

The Confederate Wars, also known as the Wars of the Roses (1455–1487), were a series of civil conflicts in England fought between two noble factions: the House of Lancaster and the House of York. Both families claimed the throne, leading to a struggle for power that involved military battles, political intrigue, and shifting alliances. These wars ultimately resulted in the overthrow of the Plantagenet dynasty and the rise of the Tudor dynasty. The conflict profoundly impacted England’s political landscape, ending with Henry Tudor's victory at the Battle of Bosworth Field.
