Condorcet
The Condorcet method is a way to choose a winner in an election by comparing candidates pair-by-pair. Each voter ranks candidates in order of preference. The candidate who would win the most head-to-head matchups against every other candidate is called the Condorcet winner. This method aims to find the candidate most preferred overall, rather than just the one with the most votes overall. If a Condorcet winner exists, it reflects strong, majority support; if not, more complex methods may be used to decide the outcome.
