Condon Report
The Condon Report, published in 1968, was a NASA-commissioned study that analyzed UFO sightings and claims of extraterrestrial encounters. It reviewed existing evidence to determine if extraterrestrial life or alien technology posed any risk or threat. The report concluded that most sightings could be explained by natural or human-made phenomena, and there was no compelling evidence of alien visitation or danger to Earth. While it acknowledged some unexplained cases, it stated they did not warrant further investigation at that time. The report helped set a scientific tone for understanding UFOs and emphasized rational evaluation of such claims.
