Condensation Prevention
Condensation prevention involves controlling environmental conditions to stop moisture in the air from turning into water on surfaces. This usually means maintaining a consistent temperature and reducing humidity levels so surfaces stay warmer than the dew point—the temperature at which moisture condenses. Methods include increasing ventilation, using dehumidifiers, insulating walls and windows, and managing indoor humidity. Proper prevention minimizes water buildup that can lead to mold growth, structural damage, and health issues. Essentially, it’s about creating an environment where excess moisture can't settle out as droplets, keeping spaces dry and healthy.
