Conclavist

A conclavist is someone who participates in a conclave—an exclusive, often secret, meeting of a select group of leaders or members—without officially being part of the recognized or authorized organization. They may organize or attend these gatherings independently, sometimes in pursuit of personal, ideological, or political goals. Conclavists often seek influence or insight into decision-making processes, even though they are not formally recognized participants. Their role can vary widely depending on the context, but fundamentally, they are outsiders engaging with restricted or confidential deliberations.
