Concentration Factor
Concentration factor measures how much a specific element or substance is concentrated in one environment compared to another. For example, in geology, it shows whether a mineral deposit has higher or lower levels of a metal compared to the surrounding rock. A high concentration factor indicates the substance is much more abundant in that particular area, which can be important for resource extraction or environmental assessments. Essentially, it helps identify areas with unusually high or low levels of a substance by comparing local concentrations to a baseline or average.
