con artistry

Con artistry, or confidence trickery, involves deceiving someone by gaining their trust and then exploiting that trust for personal gain. A con artist presents themselves as honest and persuasive, often using charm or fabricated stories to persuade the victim to part with money, valuables, or sensitive information. The goal is to manipulate the victim's belief so they’re unaware they’re being tricked until it’s too late. These scams can take many forms, including fake investments, impersonation, or false promises, all designed to manipulate emotions and perceptions to benefit the con artist.
