Comtal dynasty

The Comtal dynasty was a noble ruling family in the medieval region of Toulouse, in what is now southern France, from the 9th to the 12th centuries. They governed the County of Toulouse, playing a key role in shaping the area's political, military, and cultural development during the Middle Ages.
