Computer Basics

Computer basics involve understanding how a computer processes information. It consists of hardware—physical parts like the CPU (brain), memory (short-term storage), and storage devices (long-term storage)—and software, the programs that tell the hardware what to do. Input devices (keyboard, mouse) send commands, while output devices (monitor, printer) display results. The computer's CPU processes data, following instructions from software, and communicates with other parts via the motherboard. Operating systems like Windows or MacOS manage this process. Together, these components enable the device to perform tasks, run applications, and help users accomplish a wide range of functions efficiently.
