Complementary angles

Complementary angles are two angles whose measures add up to exactly 90 degrees, forming a right angle when combined. This relationship is common in geometric figures and helps in understanding the structure of shapes and angles. For example, if one angle measures 40 degrees, the other must be 50 degrees to be complementary. These angles can be adjacent (sharing a side) or separate. Recognizing complementary angles is useful in problem-solving and understanding how angles work together within various geometric contexts.
