Compact States
A compact state is a country whose territory is roughly circular or rectangular with minimal territorial extension, allowing for an efficient and centralized administration. The shape promotes equality in transportation and communication across the country, as distances from the center to the borders are relatively equal. Examples include Poland and Hungary. This form often helps in maintaining political cohesion and ease of defense, as the territory is more balanced and less elongated or fragmented. Compact states are considered stable geographically, with boundaries that facilitate effective governance and connectivity throughout the nation.
