Commutative Property

The Commutative Property refers to a property of certain mathematical operations, like addition and multiplication, where changing the order of the numbers does not affect the result. For example, in addition, 3 + 5 is the same as 5 + 3; similarly, in multiplication, 4 × 6 equals 6 × 4. This means that for these operations, you can switch the numbers around without changing the outcome, which helps make calculations more flexible and often simpler to solve. The property does not apply to subtraction or division, where order does matter.
