Community Supported Fisheries (CSF)

Community Supported Fisheries (CSF) is a direct partnership between consumers and local fish producers. Customers buy a share or subscription upfront, providing financial support to fishermen at the start of the season. In return, they receive regular deliveries of fresh, sustainably caught seafood throughout the fishing season. CSFs promote local economies, ensure fresh fish, and foster transparency about sourcing practices. They create a stronger connection between consumers and the people who catch their food, supporting sustainable fishing practices and reducing reliance on large-scale, industrial fishing and long supply chains.
