Community Relations Services

Community Relations Service (CRS) is a division of the U.S. Department of Justice that helps foster understanding and cooperation among diverse communities. It works to prevent and resolve conflicts or tensions that may arise due to differences in race, ethnicity, religion, or other characteristics. CRS provides mediation, dialogue, and advisory services to promote peaceful communication, rebuild trust, and improve community relations. Its goal is to support local efforts in creating safe, inclusive environments where everyone feels respected and heard.
