The Community of Inquiry model explains how meaningful learning happens through active engagement in an online or educational setting. It involves three key elements: social presence (students feel comfortable sharing and collaborating), cognitive presence (deep thinking and understanding), and teaching presence (guidance and facilitation by instructors).
