Community Court Initiative
The Community Court Initiative (CCI) is a program that aims to address quality-of-life offenses—like vandalism, graffiti, and minor quality-of-life crimes—by combining legal consequences with social services. Instead of traditional punishment, offenders may participate in community service, counseling, or other supportive programs to resolve underlying issues. The goal is to improve neighborhoods, reduce repeat offenses, and connect individuals with resources that can help them lead better lives. CCI promotes a collaborative approach involving courts, community organizations, and service providers to create healthier, safer communities.
