Community Conferencing
Community Conferencing is a restorative process where those affected by a conflict—such as victims, offenders, and community members—gather voluntarily to discuss the incident. Guided by a trained facilitator, participants share their perspectives, express feelings, and work collaboratively to understand the impact. The goal is to foster accountability, healing, and community support, rather than punishment. This approach encourages open communication, promotes empathy, and helps individuals and the community resolve issues constructively, leading to meaningful resolution and improved relationships.
