Commonwealth of Learning

The Commonwealth of Learning (COL) is an organization that promotes education across countries in the Commonwealth, a group of 56 nations mostly formerly part of the British Empire. It develops and supports open, distance, and technology-based learning programs to increase access to quality education, especially for underserved populations. By sharing resources, expertise, and innovative methodologies, COL helps governments and institutions improve educational opportunities, skills, and lifelong learning for people regardless of geography or socioeconomic status. Its goal is to strengthen education systems and empower individuals through accessible, flexible learning solutions.
