Common mode noise
Common mode noise refers to unwanted electrical signals that appear equally on all conductors in a system, relative to a common reference point like ground. It often results from external interference such as electromagnetic radiation or power line fluctuations, and can distort or obscure the true signal being measured or transmitted. Because it impacts all conductors similarly, specialized techniques like differential measurement are used to distinguish and reduce this noise, ensuring clearer, more accurate communication or data collection in electronic systems.
